VSGuard Download and Installation
VSGuard is available for both versions of Visual Studio .NET
(Visual Studio .NET 1.0 and the recently released Visual Studio
.NET 1.1 - aka Everett). Two seperate sets of installation
files are available for the two versions and users should ensure
that they download and install the correct version. To check which
version of Visual Studio you are running, open Visual Studio .NET
and select Help -> About Microsoft
Development Environment from the menu. The version number
can be found on the top line. The second number (after the 7)
is the applicable version number.
VSGuard comes packaged in two seperate packages, both of which
should be installed. They are:

The VSGuard package. This is an add in to Visual Studio .NET,
which installs a copy of VSGuard 1.0

The VSGuardWizard package. This Visual Studio Wizard
which helps you build a solution containing 2 projects,
one being the reference code and the other being the new version.
The Wizard currently supports projects build with VB 6.0 and
all .NET languages.
Users should install both the above packages in order to user
VSGuard correctly. To install, simply download the appropriate
versions of VSGuard & the VSGuard Wizard below. Double
click on the downloaded packages and the installer will install
the products and and provide any other necessary instructions.
You can download and install VSGuard without a license key. If
you do this it will install and you can run multiple executables
concurrently.
However, if you want to be able to create and manage assertions
you will need to request a license key.
